Biomedical Modeling & Control Laboratory (BMC Lab) belongs to the Department of Bioengineering at SNU college of Medicine and Interdisciplinary Program in Bioengineering, Seoul National University. The Laboratory was established in March 2010.
Biomedical modeling & Control are related with many fields of discipline and the area is rich with interesting.
The Biomedical Modeling and Control (BMC) Laboratory's research interest and on-going projects include but not limited to the early detection of disease algorithm and modeling & control for diabetes of in-silico modeling environment, the development of surgical robotics, automated hair removal system and rehabilitation of hemiplegic arm utilizing robots, servomotors, H/W, S/W as well as the image processing oriented R&D topics such as non-contact skin evaluation and real-time robotic surgery video. In addition, the capsule endoscope and human space biology are another research topic for our research group to venture in near future.
